Butterfly Friends Thrift Store on Local TV

On Wednesday, February 21, TV Modum aired a 6 1/2-minute segment on the Butterfly Friends Thrift Store in Vikersund. Inger Johanne Grøstad, one of the six women who take turns staffing the store, willingly answered all the questions from the visiting reporter, while the photographer captured many of the product categories the store has to offer. We learned about the kind people who donate items that can be sold, as well as who the typical customer is. In addition, Inger Johanne gave a wonderful account of how the Butterfly Friends Thrift Store operates, what the Butterfly Friends organization stands for, and where the money donated by all the sponsors goes.
