Butterfly's soccer academy for girls is off to a great start!
Published March 2, 2023
The SuperButterflies Soccer Academy currently has 76 girls aged 13 to 17, all of whom attend New Jeshwang and Brikama schools
In November, the academy hosted its very first tournament, with equipment sponsored by Sigdal, Teie, and Mjøndalen. It was a colorful event, and Mjøndalen won, earning its first mark on the challenge cup presented by the “mother of international soccer,” Ellen Wille.
In November 2023, the academy will expand this annual tournament to include four additional girls’ teams, making for an even bigger and more spectacular tournament next time.
The winners of this year’s tournament were the brown team from New Jeshwang.
