Exams 2026

Butterfly Friends schools in The Gambia recently held exams for all grades, from preschool (5-year-olds) through middle school. The photos above show teachers presenting certificates to the top student in each class in the subjects of English, math, integrated studies, and science.

There is great gratitude and joy among our many talented students—not just those who received special recognition this year. We know from experience that many students think, “Next year it’s my turn.” Butterfly Friends wishes them all the best, and we will always do our part to help the many poor people in The Gambia who cannot afford an education through the public school system.
