Exams at the school in Brikama
Published April 19, 2024
On April 17, 2024, 13 ninth-grade girls at ABC School in Brikama took their final culinary practicum exam. It was an eventful day during which each student demonstrated their practical knowledge and skills in planning, preparing, cooking, plating, and serving various types of food. On the menu were jollof rice, a type of stew, wonjo juice, fruit juice, “Domoda,” “Mbahal,” chicken, fried fish, vegetables with meat and sauce, and much more. They had three hours to complete the task, and an examiner from the “Examination Board” evaluated them and assigned grades—based on what she had observed throughout the process and the final result.
