Oslo-Nordstrand Soroptimist Club—thank you for your support

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Oslo-Nordstrand Soroptimist Club for the wonderful Christmas gift they gave to Butterfly Friends—a total of 5,000 kroner.
Through the Norwegian Union, the Oslo-Nordstrand Soroptimist Club is affiliated with Soroptimist International, a global organization of professional women working to promote human rights for all and to improve the lives of women and children. Soroptimist International has consultative status and the right to speak at the UN, and our motto is to be a global voice for women.The Oslo-Nordstrand Soroptimist Club is the youngest club in Oslo and was founded on November 5, 1988. Members come from a variety of professional backgrounds. The club holds 10 meetings per year
and meets on the second Tuesday of the month from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Before the meeting, starting at 6:30 p.m., there is an informal get-together with coffee and cookies.
