Nine school years under one roof
The school in New Jeshwang opened in November 2010 and is Butterfly Friends' largest. Children spend six years in primary and three in lower secondary, a short walk from the preschool in Ebo Town.
The campus has 18 classrooms, offices, a library, a computer room, a staff room and its own kitchen department serving a hot lunch every day — plus a hundred-square-metre terrace where the whole school can gather.
Head teacher Patrick Bojang leads the school together with deputy head Sampha Kamara and a teaching staff of dozens of Gambian teachers.
